On the property of the Tihany Abbey, allodial farming has been carried out since the 18th century. The buildings of the former farmstead were built in the 1830s, on the shore of the Inner Lake (Belső-tó) next to the village. The sheep shed and the barn with its eleven columns are still original. They are used as workshops by the students of the Hungarian University of Fine Arts in the summer. The renovated buildings of the cattle shed are used for cultural purposes by the Körösi Csoma Sándor Foundation. The former servant's quarters have been refurbished and are used as dwelling houses.
